In the early hours of August 21th, a hundred soldiers and policemen took over the house. They fell from the roofs, pulled the bars, knocked down the doors.

(…) They then stumbled over small masses the size of a hand, wrapped in fresh leaves. They were a lot of bollos: bollos ‘limpios’, sweet potato bollos, coconut bollos, corn bollos, bollos ‘biches’ … and with bollos, they found ‘suero’ and cheeses.

The place was called ‘Cafetería Los Molina’, but since that day, the people of the neighborhood, fascinated with the strange happening, began to call it «the Narcobollo». With that name the business was finally registered in 1990.
